The 1950 model was considered radical for the era, it has three-point front styling, popularly known as the “bullet-nose”. This was so popular that 10,000 more Land Cruisers were sold in 1950 than in 1949. What also made these cars all of the rave were the center-opening, suicide doors.
This restoration in a grey finish accents the clean, rust free lines of this 50’s classic. With glistening brightwork all around accenting the round edges this car shines bright. White wall tires complete the look. The tri-tone interior compliments the original dash perfectly. This car is a stylish classic.
This rare Studebaker Land Cruiser is in outstanding condition throughout with the suicide doors being part of the mystique. With just 27,172 of this model built this was Studebaker’s top of the line model. In researching this car there were far more 1950 & 51 Land Cruisers than there were 1952 models, indicating this year to be slightly more rare.
This vehicle appraised as being in 2+ Excellent condition in August 2021.
