Produced exclusively for the Canadian market, the Mercury Meteor was sold by Mercury dealers as a low-priced model and prices were generally within $50-100 of the comparable Ford Model. With series names like Niagara and Rideau, they wore their Canadian Heritage on their fenders and were well-rece3ived by new-car buyers. This car is originally from Cornwall Ontario and has undergone a complete restoration in 1988.  Painted to the factory grey, white and red tri-tone paint scheme. Equipped with a 292 CI V-8 mated to a Ford-O-Matic automatic console shift transmission. Other features include, power steering, whitewall radial tires and signal-seeking radio.
