In 1963 one of the most distinctive American sports cars was launched. With its boat-tail rear end that housed a split rear window the 1963 Vette was born. However, very stylish from an appearance standpoint it was also a hindrance to rear visibility. That makes finding a surviving split rear window car from 1963 rare.

This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe has been repainted the correct factory Daytona Blue with Blue Vinyl trim. All the “Corvette” emblems and nameplates are in new condition and stand out against the new paint. All the chrome accents have been professionally polished and pop against the dark blue paint. Open the hood and find a pristine engine compartment. Equipped with a non-original 327 CI, L76 – 340 HP V8 motor and a “Muncie” 4-speed transmission. The engine block, heads and valve covers are painted the correct “GM” orange. You’ll even find the oil cap to be the correct black. The hose clams are the correct “tower style” and the correct air breather is clean.  This car cruises smoothly on “Toyo” P205 75 R15 which are in excellent condition.

Other features of this sleek Corvette include a “Hurst” shifter, “Delco” AM-FM radio, posi-traction, aluminum wheels and three bar spinners.
