Commissioned as a fundraiser for WE Charity this car was built from the ground up in Warren, Manitoba. Traveling only 243 miles since the project’s completion this car is absolutely magnificent in every aspect.
Movie correct with a fresh Highland Green paint job that is the perfect backdrop for the stunning brightwork, chrome and trim. No shortage of power is generated by the Ford 302 CID V8 which has had a stroker kit installed boosting it to 347 CID. Boasting a Comp cams XE274HR roller cam conversion with Scorpion Performance 1.6 roller rockers, Eagle cast crank with I beam rods, KB Hypereutectic pistons, Edelbrock E210 aluminum heads and many other performance parts. The drive line features McLeod Super Street Pro diaphragm clutch kit, Hays Billet style flywheel, complete hydraulic conversion kit, Temec TKO 500 5 speed manual transmission along with many other parts to ensure the power hits the ground. With many modern upgrades while still keeping some of the period correct muscle this Concours restoration is absolutely magnificent in every aspect and is a Tribute even Steve McQueen would be impressed with.
This car underwent an appraisal in June 2023 with a Concours 1 condition rating.
